Sheriff Randall H. Tippins
Sheriff Randall Tippins has been in law enforcement for 33 years. He first served as a city police officer in Claxton, Georgia, before accepting an appointment as Deputy Sheriff in Evans County.

An opportunity led to an appointment as a Narcotics Agent for the GBI opening the door to a statewide experience in undercover drug operations.

When the offer of the Chief Deputy Sheriff position arose, the opportunity to come back home to serve the people he had grown up with outweighed the future opportunities at the state level.

Randall became chief Deputy Sheriff where he served under two Sheriffs for 23 years. Upon retirement of Sheriff Eddie Bradley, Randall was elected as Sheriff.

Randall, his wife Jo Ellen, and three sons make up his family. They are active members of Eastside Baptist Church. Randall is active in the Rotary Club and devoted to service in his community.
